ISLAMABAD – Model Ayan Ali’s counsel Chaudhry Akhtar Ali has submitted an application to the Interior Ministry seeking removal of his client name from the exit control list (ECL).
The model’s counsel has requested the Interior Ministry to remove her name from the ECL so that she could go to Dubai as Ayyan has signed an agreement with a company for doing a photo-shoot, otherwise, she risks losing million rupees if she missed the event.
The company has already sent a show cause notice to Ayyan asking her to reach immediately otherwise, she will have to pay Rs10 million in fine to company for breaching the agreement, the application said. The lawyer clarified that the Interior Ministry has been committing contempt of court by not obey the court orders.
The application stated that if the ministry did not remove her name from the ECL, her client would have no option but file a contempt of court petition against the interior minister.
